We make money only from the optional Celerp Connect add-on ($29/mo for your whole setup), which adds the online extras: syncing your stock and orders with your website, syncing invoices and contacts with accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero, an AI assistant for your data, secure access from anywhere, and automatic encrypted backups. The full ERP works without ever paying.

No. Download it like any app, pick your industry, and you're working - no server to configure, no IT project. If you later want it on an always-on office server, there's a short guide.

Minutes. Install, choose your industry preset - your categories and fields are ready instantly - and add your first items or import a spreadsheet. The 5-minute setup walks you through it; most people issue real documents the same day.

You can create logins and roles for everyone for free. How many work at the same time depends on the plan:

• The free app handles one signed-in user at a time - great for a single workstation.
• To have the whole team (or remote staff and your accountant) working at once, Celerp Connect opens a secure URL with unlimited simultaneous users - no VPN.

Either way it's one flat price for your whole setup, never per user.

No. Celerp posts real double-entry accounting automatically as you invoice, pay and buy, so the books are always in balance. At tax time you (or your accountant) get clean P&L, balance sheet and ledgers - and you can sync to QuickBooks or Xero if you prefer.

Almost certainly - it ships with ready-made presets for dozens of trades, and if you track stock, clients, documents or money, it fits.

Yes. Celerp is fully localized in 11 languages: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Bahasa Indonesia, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Thai, and Vietnamese. The entire interface - menus, documents, reports, and settings - is available in each language.

Entirely yours. It sits in a PostgreSQL database on your own computer (or your own server, if you prefer). In normal use nothing is sent to us - Celerp has no access to your data at all.

• It stays on your machine, behind your own network.
• Role-based permissions (five levels) control who can see and do what.
• Every change is recorded in an immutable audit log, attributed to the user.
• Any encrypted backup is encrypted with your key (AES-256-GCM) before it leaves your computer - we can't read it.

Not if you've kept a backup. You can export a full local backup any time, free, and the optional Encrypted backup keeps encrypted, scheduled copies you can restore to a new machine in minutes. Treat it like any important file - keep a copy.

Always. Export to CSV and PDF, or take a portable .celerp archive of an entire company to another install. It's developed in the open on GitHub, so there's no lock-in and nothing holding your data hostage.

Your desktop app keeps working exactly as before. Syncing with your store and accounting software stops and remote access turns off; encrypted backups are kept for 30 days then deleted (download them first if you want them). Your local data is untouched.

Yes - Shopify (coming soon) and WooCommerce. Orders, products and customers flow into Celerp, and your stock levels and products push back out, so your storefront always shows accurate availability and you don't oversell. (Connectors need a Connect subscription.)

Yes - QuickBooks Online and Xero. Customers, items and invoices sync in, and your Celerp invoices push out to your accounting system, so your books stay in agreement.

Absolutely - it's a common setup. Keep QuickBooks or Xero for your books and let Celerp handle inventory, purchasing and manufacturing; the two sync automatically. Or move your accounting into Celerp entirely, since it's built in. Your choice.

Both ways. For stores: orders, products and customers come in; stock and products go back out. For accounting: contacts, items and invoices come in; your invoices go out. Every connector is two-way - see the connectors page for the full breakdown.

No. Celerp runs on your computer, not inside your store, and syncing happens quietly in the background. It never creates duplicate records, and it won't undo your edits - a record you changed in Celerp stays put unless the store's version is newer.

Yes. We only help set up the one-time secure login to the other app; after that, syncing happens directly between your computer and that app. Your orders, stock and customer data never pass through our servers.
