Common questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The full desktop ERP - inventory, invoicing, CRM, accounting, PDF export, CSV import, multi-company, unlimited user accounts. No limits, no trial, no expiry. Download it, run it, and you have a complete business system. Connect features - syncing with your store and accounting software, and encrypted backups - are optional add-ons when you're ready.
What are the Connect features exactly?
Three things, all optional:
- Access from anywhere. A dedicated web address on celerp.com gives your Celerp a stable, public URL, so your whole team can reach it from the office or remotely - no VPN, no IT setup. One Mac Mini plus a Connect plan = secure access for your entire office.
- Automatic syncing. Keep your stock, orders and invoices in step with your own website, WooCommerce, QuickBooks, Xero and more. See the connectors page.
- Encrypted backup. Your full database and files, encrypted before they leave your computer - restore in minutes.
The Connect plan also includes 100 lifetime AI queries to try.
What can the AI actually do?
Anything a human can do in Celerp, the AI can do too. It has full access to your inventory, suppliers, customers, and documents. Ask it in plain English. Examples: "Create a PO for 50 USB-C hubs from last supplier." "Which items are below reorder point?" "Reconcile last week's invoices against POs and flag mismatches." "Draft a quote for customer X based on their last order." It also runs scheduled automations - reorder alerts, price change detection, report generation.
What happens if I cancel?
Your desktop app keeps working exactly as before. Syncing stops and encrypted backups are kept 30 days before deletion. Your data is always yours - export it any time.
Are backups encrypted?
Yes. Your Celerp app encrypts the backup before upload using AES-256-GCM. We store an opaque blob on Cloudflare R2. We cannot read your data.
What license is the software under?
The Celerp desktop software is free for business use under the Celerp License. The source code is on GitHub.
No per-seat pricing?
Correct - never per seat. Create as many user accounts as you like on any plan; we don't believe in taxing headcount. (On the free app, one person is signed in at a time; Celerp Connect lets your whole team work at once.)
Is there a free trial for Connect plans?
Yes. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Your card is required at checkout but not charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before day 15 and you won't be billed.
How many emails can I send?
Connect includes 500 emails a month - more than most businesses ever send. Document share links don't count and are unlimited. Connect + AI includes 1,000 and Team 2,000. If your business genuinely needs more, write to hello@celerp.com and we'll raise your limit.
