# Celerp > Celerp is a free, local-first business platform (ERP) for small, mid-sized and large organizations. Non-technical teams deploy it on ordinary hardware, and preconfigured setups cover complete business cycles without outside consultants. MIT-licensed core modules cover accounting, contacts, sales, inventory, supply chain and manufacturing, and keep working offline. Your data stays in a PostgreSQL database and file store you control, with no per-seat fees. Celerp is built primarily in Python with FastHTML; its source-available engine converts to Apache 2.0 over time. The optional Celerp Connect add-on ($29/mo, flat) adds online sync, remote access, an AI assistant and encrypted backup. Built and maintained by Noah Severs (20 years building ERPs; previously founded GemCloud, acquired by Gemfields, LSE: GEM) and backed by Data Universal. ## Start here - [Download](https://celerp.com/download): Free desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, or `pip install celerp`.
